Walther P-38 Pistol (9 mm)
In the late 1920s and 1930s, a competition began a new pistol for replacing P08 Parabellum. Initially, Walther PP was created, but it did not meet the requirements of the caliber. After several years of attempts, the HP version was finally created, which later received the designation P38. The first orders for a gun posted the Swedes, but most of their orders were not executed. After that, the pistol was produced only for the German army (about 1.3 million copies at the end of the war). After the war, tens of thousands of pieces were produced for the French army. In 1963, these pistols (with an aluminum frame) were recycled for the Bundeswehr with the designation P1. The principle of operation of this weapon is a short return of the trunk. The gun is locked with a shutter located under the barrel.
Gewehr 98K rifle
Gewehr 98K rifle, produced at the Mauser plant, the first samples of which were released in 1898, is a derivative of the model of 1888, which was a standard complete set of German infantry in the First World War. Experience and post-war analysis showed that the rifle is too long and uncomfortable for use during the war. The result of these analyzes was the creation of a new version of this rifle, called the Carabiner 98K. Initially, the gun was made of walnut, but due to problems with the delivery for this purpose, plywood was used. The change of material also caused a change in the structure. Since 1943, new and new simplifications have been introduced into the design, and ceased to be equipped with bayonets and cleaners. In 1945, manufactured copies had a fixed sight at a distance of 100 m and a shortened front handle. This rifle was produced until the very end of the war. In total, 7 million copies of the 98K rifle were released.
Erma machine gun (EMP 35)
The famous arms designer Heinrich Follmer made a name for the VMP pistol (according to MP18). The gun was never produced, but the idea was so good that his company was absorbed by Erfurter Maschinenfabrik B. GeiPel GmbH and continued to work on them. In 1931, he left ERMA, and in 1934 the production of a modified machine gun under the name MPE began, and this year he sold the right to produce this company. In 1935, Wehrmacht became interested in this weapon, and it was sold to him called EMP about. 35. From the previous version, it was different only in the absence of folding support in the front handle. The characteristic features of this weapon were switches of fire-type (solid, single), side store, telescopic cover for a return spring and a wooden handle. He worked on the principle of free gate. MPE buyers had such countries as Mexico, Bolivia, France, Paraguay. Looking for the best wife? Best Ukrainian dating website on https://annadating.com with reliable support.
